Wait. What does that actually mean?
Remand
Held in custody while the case continues. Not a conviction.
Bail
Released while the case continues, usually under conditions.
Indicted
Formally charged and ordered to stand trial.
Convicted
Found guilty of the charge by a court.
Acquitted
Found not guilty. That matter is over.
Appeal
A higher court is asked to review the decision.
Why this exists
Political cases are often reported one hearing at a time. Arrest here, bail there, appeal six months later, and eventually nobody remembers where the case actually stands.
This tracker puts the timeline back together, so you can see the current status, what came before it, and where the information came from.
One person, one record
See the legal history in one place.
Sources attached
Every material claim links back to where it came from.
Uncertainty stays visible
If reliable sources disagree, we say so.

Found something we missed?
Court records move, reporting changes, names get transliterated three different ways, and sometimes two outlets disagree on the same sentence. If you spot an error or have a stronger source, send it in.
